Synopsis

Lilyan Sievernich follows John Huston on his set as he directs his production of 'The Dead,' the film version of the short story by Irish modernist James Joyce, a work that would ultimately be the visionary filmmaker's swan song. The production becomes a family affair as the octogenarian Huston is joined by his screenwriter son, Tony, and actress daughter, Anjelica, who has a starring role in the film. Huston reflects on his long career and expertise at adapting literary works for the screen.
